Innovative Webinar in Islamic Archaeology

In the upcoming semester, Prof Bethany Walker will offer a webinar that takes the participants directly to the site she is currently excavating. The webinars consist of seven sessions in total: four sessions will be conducted by Prof Walker directly from the site. These sessions will include material filmed by a body-cam that Prof Walker will carry during her excavation. The last three sessions are part of a course, she is teaching in Bonn. These sessions will wrap-up and deepen the knowledge that the participants gained from the on-site webinar sessions.

The overall topic of the webinar is the introduction to Islamic landscape archaeology with a special focus on methods. The full syllabus will be shown here shortly.

The webinar will start at the beginning of March.
