We are pleased to annouce Prof. Khusniddin Mamadaliev from the Kimyo International University in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) as our first speaker in this years Lecture Series on the History of Culture of Central Asia. On November 10, 2026 he will give a lecture via zoom on the titled "Description of the cities of Sogd in the 10th century in Islamic written sources: from wonder to reality".
